See the School We’re Building in the Village of Emori Joi (Africa)

This is REALLY what it’s all about.

At the Continuity Summit, I wanted to do something that will make a difference. So I brought in my good friend, Cynthia Kersey  and we set a goal to raise $25K LIVE for her Unstoppable Foundation.

For just $25,000, you can build an entire school in Africa. And not just a school, this builds a well and the school sustains the entire community.

So we put our heads together and did a live fundraiser. For $500, you can have a private lunch with Cynthia, myself and Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul). Plus, I gave away one of my $1,500 products.

And in about 20 minutes, we raised over $26,000!!! To all of you who contributed, thank you so much.

Cynthia just flew to Africa where they are beginning construction on our new school called “The Continuity Summit School”.

Check out the pics and video (the video is really hard to hear as the wind was really heavy):

  • Thanks for the update Ryan. This was an awesome moment to be apart of and a very proud one. Like you always say THIS is what it's about being in the position to give back. You are always a great teacher that is always willing to give back Ryan and I personally can't thank you enough for what you have done for me. Building this school was a great thing. It shows you as the humanitarian you were MEANT to be. I can't wait to share this with my people.

Who knows maybe the Ryan Lee Continuity School will rival the "Xavier School for the Gifted" lol : )
  • That is phenominal! What a great way to use your hard earned influence! One of these days I will be able to do the same!

  • It was great to be a part of that and having dinner with you Ryan. I just posted a video on my blog that I did with Cynthia at your event with links back to this and her foundation. I truly hope it helps contribute to the awareness you are creating. Keep up your great efforts.
  • Good Job, Ryan!!! All of us can do little things in our everyday lives to help people. It's all about giving back without expecting anything in return. Ryan... you have given those kids an opprtunity to be educated and that's the greatest gift in the world. Our society suffers when education takes a back seat. Can't say enough about seeing this.... it's wonderful.
  • Thanks for the update Ryan!
That moment at the Summit where we all chipped in and raised enough money for this school was amazing and very inspiring! I'm glad to be a part of it all.

Real proud of you Ryan. Not to many people go out of their way to help those in need. I hope there will be a whole lot more of continuity summit schools in africa.

    Fantastic. Congrats!
  • How cool. My Mom, Julie Wright talked about how much was raised at the Summit and in such a short time ( and yes, she gave too)...
I love ppl who help support others through their work.
    Neat pictures.
Hope to meet you next year at the Summit, Ryan. I heard it was the place to be.
