It was back in 1995 when I was still relatively green in the fitness industry.
There was one person who I really looked up to. I had all his books, videos (yes, VHS tapes back then) and even his medicine balls.
I spent just about every dollar I made working at the Children’s Hospital on his products.
Seriously.
This was the guy credited with bringing medicine balls and plyometrics back to the forefront of fitness in the last 90s.
I made my way into New York City, ponied up the 20 bucks for parking and went to the Reebok Club for a one day seminar.
And there he was, the guy I looked up to:
Dr. Don Chu.
He gave a GREAT seminar. I still have all those notes I took on that day. I stayed late just to meet him and introduce myself. I have to admit, I was even a little nervous.
And here’s the twist.
Don Chu is now going to speak at one of MY events.
He has graciously agreed to do a session all about heavy vs. light loads at http://fitcomxpo.com
I still can’t believe it. It’s amazing how things have a way of working out when you set your goals and work hard to achieving them.
Who goals have you set for yourself.
What are YOU doing, RIGHT NOW, to achieve them
Everything you do is either brining you CLOSER to your dreams or further AWAY from them.
Stay strong,
Ryan
P.S. If you want to attend the session by Dr. Don Chu and over 80+ other fitness professionals like Alwyn Cosgrove, Mike Boyle, Valerie Waters and so many more, grab a ticket to http://fitcomxpo.com
P.P.S. If you’re a fitness pro, you’ll be happy to know we just added another CEU provider: NESTA. And next week we are adding two more CEU providers. http://fitcomxpo.com
