  • Great reminder here, Ryan - Card or not, know that I REALLY appreciate you treating me so well, and letting me help out during the event - It's still amazing to me that you got all of those celebrity entrepreneurs to fly in from all over the world.

I'm going to have to get more serious with my cards sending etiquette from now on ..
  • Hey Ryan,
    This was a great video.
    Tuning in everyday now.
  • Great point!

I am always thinking "out of the box" all the time, but the simple "in the box" methods are sometimes the most effective.
  • Hey Ryan - great post man and great message - yeah, we've all got to take it old school and remember that the relationship trumps all -

I'm feeling really guilty I didn't send a card, but you know I LOVE YOU MAN -

And I think the goatee looks good - it's great for going out back and chopping some wood with big Zach -

    Haha - talk soon bud!
  • Great Stuff Ryan-Showing appreciation with the little extra touches really works-like sending a client a Birthday card on their birthday, ask them about thier kids, etc.

Simplicity works. It is always amazing how if you just stick with basic fundamentals just how much you can accomplish. Great point.

And I don't have any problem with the goat!

Rock On Ryan - and thanks for the great event (I sent that message in an email, but the physical card is a great touch - and big differentiator!)

    Craig
  • The goat's got to go mate...

Otherwise great tip. I was at a marketing event on the weekend and your tip reminded me of something one of the speakers said - it's the simple things that work. It ain't rocket science.

    cheers
  • Amazing how much of marketing revolves around building on the human psyche and its needs. Building a relationship, showing appreciation, giving back. Now I need to get my card in the mail to all the speakers :)

Glad to see you back and I am glad you wife doesn't like the goatee so now you can shave it :)

    Scott
  • such a simple tip but oh so effective.

And the goatee's got to go Ryan!

    Thank you
  • Ryan -

It's a great point! I've only managed to get about half my cards in the mail so far since (like you) I've been traveling and been busy since the Summit - thanks for the kick in the pants. Gonna get that finished up tonight...
