Ryan,

I have my CSCS and am currently working on my DPT. I totally agree with the
anaerobic or HIIT training types. The one thing you have to remember is
that there are millions of people in the U.S. that are unable to do those
high intensity because of health conditions or other morbidities. Either
because of joint pain, heart issues, or some other risk due to medication
they are on. Even though HIIT is by far the best (in my opinion, yours, and
many others) you have to be aware of the population that should not do HIIT
workouts and make sure they gradually increase their slower aerobic
exercises and get clearance by their MD so that they don't have any
detrimental effects to their health. My worry is that people will try this
type of training when they should not or are not in the shape they should be
to do these workouts. Educating people/clients/consumers about who should
and who should not be doing these is also important I think. I am not
saying you are doing anything wrong by promoting it, because I do as well,
but we just have to be careful of who we give it to. Well, that's my two
cents.

Have a good one!
