Joint Venture 101- 5 Words You Should Never Say

When it comes to landing JVs it’s not about what can the person do for you. In fact, the real way to get in and do joint ventures is explained in the video above. Many fail to realize the art of service. If you are able to help the person you want to do a JV with by selling their product or offering a lending hand, they are more likely to reciprocate and give you something you want.

And don’t forget to avoid using those “5 words”… It may very well end any opportunity to land a JV and that’s a terrible thing to waste.

Honestly, do you find this useful?
  • Have a great time in Utah,Ryan!!
Great info as usual-your videos are always full of great nuggets of information.
I always thought that when someone said :"Can I pick your brain"-that it sounded kind of weird.

    Also,

I do not know how I can help anyone else, but if I can let me know. This will be a fitness related site. Once up and running you will see what I am about and if you like what you see and want to link up, that would be cool.

This is all new to me,
    sincerely,

Good stuff! I never liked that saying either.

A question if I may, ( I am sorry if this is not appropriate, but I do not know where else to go for this):

My job is about dried up, no work to speak of. I am selling some things to stay afloat and generate some money to get a blog going.

I have a digital book about ready to sell. Price point is $47.

I am thinking of having a contest to give away the first 10 copies free.

My thought is to then give a 50% discount on the next 250 copies and then
give a 25% discount on the next 250 copies. Then from there the price would be 100%, $47.

I was thinking this might build me a list quicker and get the book out there faster as most people like a good deal. I may have some bonuses to go with it.

Any thoughts from anyone? Is this good? Should I adjust the numbers in anyway?

Once I sell some things I have put on craigslist I want to move quickly as the money will not last long. I was thinking of a youtube vid to quickly get the word out on my product, pointing back to my blog.

I really am in a tight pinch and trying to dig out, so any thoughts are deeply appreciated!

    Thank you,
    Walter
  • Hey Ryan - yes, great job driving that point home - you and Mark Joyner did the same at the CONTINUITY SUMMIT - it was a great lesson for everyone -

Ha - that PICK YOUR BRAIN thing is such a force of habit I could see myself making that mistake unconsciously - now it's on my radar!
  • Salt Lake is nice, I just moved out here from your neck of the woods about a year ago. You'll have a good time, I assume you are working with Andrew, if that is the case, then I'm sure you will be well taken care of. Can't wait to see the new show when it's done. You will definitely have to slow down your speech though, you talk to fast for the utahns.
  • Funny, that phrase has always bothered me "can I pick your brain"! Especially over lunch?!? Greta tip RL, travel safe and appreciate the tips as always.
  • Hey Ryan,

Love your stuff!!!! I've been a member of RRR (and Ozworth) for 3 months and was wondering if I can send you a video testimonial of how much the Report has helped me? Thanks again and have fun in Utah.
